In the spring of 2006 the Southern Seed Association hired a new Executive Director, Mr. Richard Taylor of Leland, Mississippi and shortly thereafter moved your association headquarters to Leland.

Mr. Taylor, a lifelong seedsman himself, brings a wealth of background to our association after serving the Mississippi Seedsmen’s Association as its President and, later, its Executive Director for 17 years.

Today the SSA is bringing value to its members in ways that were once only visions.
